Base edges wheel loaders
The base edge is the part that is welded to the bucket to be able to use bolt-on-edges. We stock base edgesl of Cat and Volvo for straight buckets or as spade noses. The holes on our base edges are normally countersunk so that the nut is protected. The base edge can be mounted with bolt-on-edges, alternatively with welded tooth adapters with bolted segments in between. Call or email us if you want advice on which steel suits your machine.
There are base edges that have the same external dimensions but may differ in bolt hole spacing and bolt size, if unsure please contact Entrack for assistance.
